Labor/Contacts sub-tab: Asset
The Labor/Contacts page lists the labor records and contacts associated with the asset. Labor records listed with the asset can be auto-assigned to each newly generated work order. This ensures that individuals with particular expertise are automatically assigned to work on the asset. In addition, contacts can be maintained in this list for general reference.
Field Descriptions
The following fields are displayed in the Labor/Contacts list:
-
Name, Type, and Work Phone: Name of the labor resource, type of contact, and work phone number.
-
Repair Center: Repair Center to which the labor resource is associated.
-
Priority: Priority of labor resources listed on Labor Contacts page.
-
Auto-Assign?: Indicates whether or not the labor record should be auto-assigned when a work order is generated for this asset. Multiple labor records can be defined for auto-assignment.
Auto-assignments automatically propagate to all child records. If a labor record is designated for auto-assignment, he or she is auto-assigned to all work orders generated on child assets that do not have their own auto-assignment specified.
-
Backup Resource?: Indicates whether or not the labor record is a backup resource for the asset. If the backup resource is also listed for auto-assignment it will only be auto-assigned if there is not another labor resource available for auto-assignment.
